Wayne Williamson

Tragically, Wayne Williamson died in a house fire Dec. 2017.in Atlantic PA. He would be a storied Romancinero as probably the only crew from the rolls of the Romance: “South Pacific Voyage: 1977- 1979. Sailed on a Brigantine then served in the navy on nuclear attack subs as purser for seven years. Migrated ashore in Hawaii, worked in supply, went the naval war college in Newport RI. Spent 2 years in university in Kansas and developed an “original corrosion test" with a navy class mate.

Went to Guam ran the petroleum navy base there: retired as a Lieutenant Commander. Went into the private sector and worked for the US. Government for many years. I saw him in Boston in May of 2017 where he attended a conference about how the Navy would feed their crews with limited space for thirty days given the complexity of machinery on modern fighting vessels.
